Disney's Pop Century Resort is located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It opened in 2003 and is the fourth value priced resort opened at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney's Pop Century Resort is located near ESPN Wide World of Sports.

5 Things You Should Know about Disney's Pop Century Resort

1. Disney's Pop Century Resort is themed to the decades of the second half of the 1900s.

The ten resort buildings are themed to one of the following decades: 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, or the 1990s. Each of the buildings has large icons to help you identify which decade they are themed after and feature large statues of movies or toys that were popular during that decade.

2. Disney's Pop Century Resort has 3 pools themed to the buildings they are located near.

The first pool is the Computer Pool, and it is located near the '80s and '90s buildings.

The second pool is the Bowling Pool, and it is located near the '50s buildings.

The third pool is the Hippy Dippy Pool, and it is located near the '60s buildings and the resort lobby building called Classic Hall. It also features a Kiddie Pool and the Petals Pool Bar.

3. Everything Pop is the Food Court located in Classic Hall.

Everything Pop features four food lines and a "grab and go" section. The food line choices are Mom's Kitchen, the Grill Shop, the Pizza Shop and the Sandwiches, Soups, and Salads Shop.

4. The rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort were recently refurbished.

The refurbished rooms feature updated decor, larger beds and more floor space.

5. Many guests choose to decorate their windows.

Decor is themed to Disney movies or parks or the current season of the year. Make sure to use decor that will not damage the rooms.
